Transcript

Mitchell Carr and Tiana Thomson, the head students of Howick College this year, and one of their teachers Jilly Dryden, are leading the school’s voluntary work in helping and supporting the people of Hawke’s Bay who have endured devastating life-changing events from Cyclone Gabrielle.

Howick College is collecting required and practical supplies for people in the Hastings area. A school team including this motivated trio is heading down there in two weeks to deliver them and help out with clean-up efforts.

To support what they’re doing, a starting point to get in contact and contribute, go to the school’s website www.howickcollege.school.nz, and look under the News & Events section, Latest News.
