PJ’s featured and talked before with Miranda Easten when she released her great country-pop singles such as Kip Moore Smile, which is on her new album Concrete and Honey, and with her making a trip to Auckland from her Canterbury home, she joined us in-studio in early November to tell us about her musical journey, and we played the 12-track album work in entirety. It’s mighty fine.
The good folk at Blackout Music NZ say of Miranda Easten: “Her talent for writing polished modern country tunes that extend across the country-folk-pop genre has garnered her a growing fan base, and over the past few years she’s refined and crafted a unique sonic identity to call her own. Possessed of a poetically lyrical viewpoint, Easten blends her heartfelt observations, honest storytelling and memorable melodies together, to invoke connection by sharing comfort in times of sorrow, and bringing joy in times of happiness with her music.”
