Sun’s out, temperature’s rising – it’s all about the sport and rock n’ roll. It was a real pleasure to have in-studio Peter Cary, president of Howick Softball, as the diamond-game’s season swings into action from next weekend. PJ’s known Howick Softball Club through journalism down the years and it’s one of the best sports clubs we have in East Auckland. Very welcoming and family-friendly. One of those wonderful positive and enthusiastic organizations we have in our community. Plus, softball is such a great game to play and watch (and that’s coming from a cricketer). They’re based down at their fantastic headquarters at Meadowlands. Check them out, get involved!
